Crafted largely from weathered timber and light, sand-coloured materials, this home imitates its native surrounds whilst reflecting the neighbouring vernacular in form. The pale pine cladding is perfectly complemented by the lightness of COLORSTEEL® Gull Grey across the stretched hip roof form, creating a wide, low slung profile and bringing a minimalist yet natural feel to the home, in perfect balance with its neighbours alongside and the driftwood-littered beach in front.

The exterior roofing also helped provide inspiration for the interior of the home, with exposed beams of a vaulted macrocarpa-clad ceiling reflecting the COLORSTEEL® roof in a tray profile to create a sense of brightness, volume and release when you step inside.
