A little maintenance goes a long way

A clean house is a good looking house. But there are other reasons to pamper your palace. Thanks to science and technology, in the foreseeable future there may be such a thing as a NO maintenance house. However, at the moment the best we can hope for is ‘low maintenance’.

The COLORSTEEL® range has been designed to largely take care of itself. However, there are a few maintenance procedures that will not only make your products look and perform their best, but will also ensure your warranties remain valid.

The harshness of your surrounding environment will dictate the type of product to select, as well as what materials need to be given some extra attention.

In terms of washing use:

  • Fresh water.
  • Either a sponge or soft nylon-bristled brush.
  • An extended window cleaning brush to clean wall cladding, eaves and joinery from the ground.

The great news is that the most difficult area to clean, the roof, is taken care of by Mother Nature.
